Yellow Daisies At Arabia Mountain! I Didn't Miss Them!

The Yellow Daisies are still blooming at Arabia Mountain.  Don't miss them!
These flowers are so incredibly beautiful and they are covering the mountain with gorgeous bright yellow, and when you have the backdrop of the rock against a bright blue sky....well, it is a sight for my sore eyes!  I was so happy that I didn't miss it because I was two weeks out of the country!
Thank you, Yellow Daisies, for still being in bloom for me.  I am grateful.

Hey! I don't know about anyone else, but I am in the mood for the smooth and calming voices of Bill Kenny and Ella Fitzgerald...I have had this video on here before, but it's good, so enjoy it!

  1. Those are some very beautiful flowers. I'm most likely going to have to miss them, but I can live with seeing how they are.

    1. I was surprised to see how many people from this area read my blog, so I wanted to have this on here for them! Although, if you are ever in the area, make sure to get yourself to Arabia Mountain, Panola Mountain or Stone Mountain!

    1. And these are such special flowers, Kay, they really only grow in this area.
So, we are very lucky to see them. Although, most people only overlook them, more's the pity!

  3. The bright yellows make the whole world look sunny. Here we have daisies, sunflowers, and goldenrod just to name a few. When they grow close together the shades of color are really pretty.

    1. We also have a very bright yellow flower that grows on these local mountains, a certain coreopsis, and we even had that one blooming beside the roads here! Love all the flowers!

  5. Glad the daisies waited for your return! Very beautiful! Daisies here are long gone but there's a lot of fall foliage to enjoy....even the weeds look pretty this time of year! Have a great weekend!

    1. We have a while to wait until our leaves change, they really don't get started that well until November! Take care, and stay warm!

  6. Love those daisies - I think it was Meg Ryan in 'Who's got mail' who said something like 'daisies are the happiest flowers'. x

    1. Oh Julie,
You should see all the flowers that we saw while we were in Eastbourne! I bet you have the same ones in YOUR garden! I loved the Japanese anemones that we saw there, and the pink roses bloomed at my inlaw's garden, such a gorgeous shade of pink...English roses, there is a reason that England is famous for them! xx

    1. Hey John!
Yes! YOU understand how important it is to us that we didn't miss the blooming time of these flowers! Most people wouldn't think one thing about it, but we know YOU totally GET it! :-)

    1. Can you see from my smile how happy this made me? Funny thing too, I have been very much under the weather ever since we got back from England, so even though I was really pretty sick when that photo was made I still made it to Arabia to pose with my Yellow Daisies!!

    1. They are truly beautiful. There is a well known festival tied in with the blooming of the Yellow Daisy at Stone Mountain, but most people never even see the flower itself, it is only a wildflower you see, and very much overlooked...but NOT ON MY WATCH< NOT ON MY BLOG!!

    1. Hey Lee,
I like the idea of that, just the way that I liked the pink roses blooming just for me in the back garden of my in-laws!

  11. They are so sunshiny and cheery!

I watched this program the other night and thought of you, Kay:

    1. Hey Sue!
I tried to watch a few minutes of that show, or as much as HULU would let me see...and it looked as if it could be funny!
And hey, I like the idea of someone watching something from England and thinking of me! WE Anglophiles must stick together! x

  13. Nice daisies. There's something about bold primary colours that makes people happy. Blue skies, Yellow, Green. I suppose that's why most infant schools usually have the same colours in their murals. When voting in my local infant school recently I was more interested in the art work all along the corridor walls than who I was supposed to be voting for :o)
